For those that know her (and for those that don't) the trouble and strife is celebrating her birthday this Sunday and we're putting on a small do in the bar for her. There will be a bit of grub and music by The Blues Machine on their Sunday night jam session and after midnight Pops Allstars & guests will finish the night off. Music starts at 900pm with happy hour until 10pm. All welcome.

We are pleased to announce that our resident drummer Ooy has returned after 2 months off after a serious eye operation so along with his great singing voice starting on thursday 30th July we have a great new female singer Annie who will join the Blues Machine band. Please check them out. Also starting on the 1st July our first band The Blues Machine will now be starting at 9.00pm and they will play until 11.45pm. Starting this sunday (19th) Blues Factory has 2 new guest bands playing weekly. Sundays are still Jam Night with The Blues Machine & Snowman until 1215am but now at 1230am Pop Guitar (Pops Allstars) and the "Band of Smiles" will finish the night. On Monday Ladies Night is now cancelled and the evening will start with Snowman & The Blues Machine until 1215 then at 1230am "Eternity Rock" will take the stage until closing. Eternity Rock is a new line up and is a mixture of The Blues Factory's Rock Machine with our old guitarist Neung "No1" and our current drummer with the Lam Mor

The Blues Factory is again proud to announce that "Goobergun" from the UK will be back performing in the bar on Tuesday 14th June as they continue their Asian tour. Goobergun. goobergun They will be performing along with Lam Morrison and his rock n roll band. Doors open at 9pm with all drinks (except remy, breezers or cocktails) at 100bht except draught beer which is 50bht until 1000 pm. Music from 1000pm with Goobergun taking the stage sometime after. I came through Doha early this morning but didn't buy but when I reached BKK I bought a bottle of perfume and a bottle of aftershave, not a massive saving but BKK was around 15 US cheaper. Don't know about Heathrow.

All I will say is that I know of a very large semi open bar on Walking st that is maybe about the same size as Tony's (maybe a bit smaller) and it doesn't have a full hi tec system and the rent will cost you the same. I don't think some people here realize how expensive the rents can be in this town.

Darryl Read and his Beat Extentialists will join our Biker Night next week. His band also include Graham who's played with Darryl many times over the years, Deano Roucco (drummer to the stars) and of course Darryl Read (Ray Manzarek of The Doors/X. T. Rex).
