  1. As its my 40th this Monday I've decided to put on a small party so on Monday 26th November due to their success on previous visits in the Blues Factory and in other venues across town we welcome back B.B.L.T! BBLT are a great line up here in Pattaya featuring some very experienced musicians including Tony Stevens , Len Tuckey, Bob Lamb and Brian Thomas singing great classic rock n blues. Live music starts at 1000pm with Pop Guitar and The Engine Band with BBLT taking to the stage at around 1100pm. There will also be some guest musicians coming in to jam including Lam "The Guitar King"
  2. Its does sound possible but even if not the 100bht would be coming out of the cashiers salary.
  3. I think invites were sent to admin but also I think it was more of a soft opening as there are some small works still to do.
  4. Went to the 15 year Anniversary party of the Residence Garden last night, they have now built a new restaurant and bar which goes around the swimming pool, they've done a great job, its transformed the place. Highly recommended.
  5. Not sure too be honest but i'm sure he'll be playing around town. He just headlined a festival in Taipai so maybe he'll play in other countries also.
  6. Not an easy decision but changes have to be made. Snowman will always be welcome in The Blues Factory. Lam will still play as will the Rock Machine and there will be more guest bands appearing.
  7. Short notice I know but just been confirmed that the Beatles tribute band from Bangkok will be coming in tommorrow night to play a set for us from 11pm. Looking forward to it as I have never seen them before so it it'll be a nice change. Hope to see you there.
  8. Lam will be on stage at around 12am hopefully before. There will be big changes in a month or so where he may be on from around 10pm. Not discussed it yet. Thanks Jacko.
  9. This coming Tuesday (28th) Lam is celebrating his (belated) birthday and we'll be holding a bit of a party for him in the Blues Factory. There will be music from 10.00pm by The Rock Machine followed by Lam Morrison. There will be A free buffet also. Hope to see you there.
  10. 40000bht????? I've got Lam Morrison gigs for less than that. Is that including pa etc?
  11. I've been slacking. :) Maybe its just me? I'm still in the UK and I don't think i'll be back by the 5th but if you want to have a listen they play from 10pm wednesdays and after midnight all other nights apart from Monday. The bar is the Blues Factory on soi lucky star and the 5th is their night off so they may be available. If interested let me know and i'll put you intouch. Yes they do most Thai stuff also. cheers Dave :) :) Haven't got the bike anymore i'm afraid. no dates as yet but if anything occurs then i'll post. :)
  12. 10 and a bit years in i've done everything legally, could i have saved a few quid by not doing it, fuck yes sure but i don't want that on my shoulders as well as not having to worry about being grassed up for not doing things correctly. At the end of the day a permit for the owner who runs a bar with Thai staff isn't going to break the bank as much as it would have done 5 or more years ago. Don't risk it and DON'T listen to farangs or thais that "have ways around it.".
  13. ps has my rep gone down because i've not been online?
  14. May be able to help, what budget are you looking at (pm me if you want) as my rock band are now free'd up on a sunday.:)
