Really difficult to hold a view on this. I enjoy looking at the pictures posted but really don't want my picture plastered over the internet

Review: 1 Month Condo From Dancewatchers.com
som nam na replied to SmellyFarang's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Rental rates are supply and demand driven. For VT 6 it seems there is a very heavy demand, more than the available supply. This would justify a rise in VT 6 rental rates from the previous lower rates if indeed this is actually the case. This is different than for say VT 2B where my condo is situated and high season / low season rates apply. As for making Dancewatcher rich, from what I have seen and testimonials of others it is hard work, attention to detail and a quality service and product that draws in the customers. Dancewatchers rates must be competetive otherwise people would not rent from DW. -

Another unsubstantied post. 30,000 for what ... my condo is rented through DW for a lot less than that -

I use AVG but I am now receiving a message that I have to buy the subscription version .... any ideas why the free version is no longer available? -
Some good advice but do not borrow to fund property in Thailand ... the golden rules are "do not bring into Thailand more than you can expect to lose" and "rent before you buy". Some will say always rent and don't buy. There is a lot of sense in that but it doesn't suit everyone. When you make the move to Thailand rent first so you will get a better idea of what you like / what is available and you will also will be able to keep an ear to the ground for bargains.

Review: 1 Month Condo From Dancewatchers.com

Hi CT the OP looks to be a genuine report. I rent my Condo out through Dancewatcher and the report sums up pretty well the renting experience through Dancewatchers. I know Tik and Mike personally and can say the OP is spot on about their integrity and quality of service. -
For me its nothing to do with race ...but character traits ... cheap charlies (of whatever origin) and bad behavior justify discrimination ... for behavior not colour or ethnic origin

I don't know of condos in Soi Bukhao area that have large swimming pools. Areca Lodge has a couple of reasonable size pools but they are a bit too short for real swimming. The Montien has a good pool but the room rate is too expensive. I rented and eventually bought a Condo in VT 2B in Jomtien. The pools are about 35 -40 m long and excellent for distance swimmng. VT2 rental costs are affordablre, THB 500 to THB 1,000 a night and are available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and vary in price and depending on what you are looking for. VT2 is also on the bahtbus route into Pattaya .... fare is 10 bhat. I rent my one bed condo (VT2B 5th Floor) out through dancewatcher http://www.dancewatchers.com/5_VT2B.html. It is newly renovated to a good specification, fully redecorated, and has a computer desk, new leather seating, 40" plasma TV, new kitchen, new hand made bed etc. If you are on a tight budget then consider a single unit. Although if it was me staying for 2 months I would want the extra comfort of a 1 bed unit. Jomtiem is further out than your preferred Soi Bukhao area, but it may be worth a try.

51,282 per square metre is too expensive price should be nearer 900,000 for a quick sale .... or less if a building is going to be constructed next door ... as looks like from the picture

I have used Mr T (not same as your Toom) since 2003 and never had a problem. Just the opposite .. a very good service always there even if flight was late. Last night was driven to the airport by lady Pet one of Mr T's drivers .... excellent driver and good quality car THB 1,000 including tolls

Need price for root canel and cap
som nam na replied to BigDUSA's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
I paid GBP 750 in the UK for root canal and gold crown. Seems UK prices are similar (xrate movemnts excepted) to US prices. Where possible I use the dentist in Pattaya International hospital. Not had anything major done but the clean and scape is the best I have ever had and at 25% of the cost in the UK -

Where to buy golf clubs in Pattaya for TGF
som nam na replied to som nam na's topic in RideHer Cup Planning and Discussion
Thanks for the helpful advice, I can understand what you say about your wife TGF being competetive so far the TGF has beaten me at pool (didn't play before), bowling and now probably golf. What make of clubs should I buy for her? -
Apologies in advance for not searching the forum but I would very much appreciate advice from BM's as to the best place in Pattaya to buy a new set of new golf clubs for the TGF, how much I should pay for the golf clubs and what type to buy ... she is starting to learn how to play golf. Thanks and reagrds SNN

Condo wanted to Rent 28 February to 20 March
som nam na replied to som nam na's topic in Expat Issues
Now in the condo RWB and enjoying it. Quite a different experince to staying in a hotel. Bars are closed this evening and just had a very nice seafood meal at the Avalon resort overlooking the sea. Avalon is between VT 5C and the beach. I move out on 7th March ....enjoy. -
Thanks Blacknight that was the Company I was looking for. Will give them a call on Monday.

Done a search but can't find the thread I have seen before that mentioned the name and contact number of a Thai lawyer that also provided a copy of the documents translated into English. Would appreciate it if any BM's who have recently completed on a condo could recommend a lawyer and give an indication of the cost.

It will be a month or more before I will have access to the condo I am buying ... so I need to rent a condo starting Thursday 28 February until 20 March when I return to Europe for a few weeks. If any BM's have a condo for rent in View Talay or know of one available to rent please PM me with details. Thanks SNN
