It happened to me this morning after a Google search that resulted in a hit for PattayaTalk. When I clicked on the link into PattayaTalk, I was sent to that dodgy site. Hmmm.

Anyone can set up a poll. I have no more privileges or rights than you guys at doing this, except I can fix errors after the fact...e.g. add another category or change contents. Call this thread the nomination phase...winnow the categories down to what you can agree on (initial post was too many, IMHO). Give a list of candidates for each category. Then someone can create a poll so that a single vote can be made within each category. Not difficult as far as I can see. I nominate atlas2 to create the poll! I'm leery of best trip report category because there have been a number of them that are good in their own way, prose, pictures, wit, detail, 3rd party observation as well as introspective discussion. I've yet to see one that isn't good in some special way. Some that come immediately to mind are( without regard to order listed) are: Britboy's Jamie Jimbowx Capdagde Steptoe (ongoing) teelack's various thoughtful postings ikkrang - i would put more in the relationship section rather than a trip report Handsome Man...writing style excellent, timeliness...about a decade old, so not really relevant for 2013 IMHO MiGHTYONE always good for a laugh and a perve The reason I mention these is because to me, they are all readable and enjoyable, and it would be a shame to leave any of the reports out. Incidentally, you all have the ability to click the stars at the top of a trip report topic (1-5 stars) to input your opinion of the topic overall, anonymously as far as I can tell. That might be useful if enough people do it. Hardly anyone uses this feature now, and it's a pity. EDITED IN LATER: Also, where do we put topics like IdeFix's great Agogos News, an ongoing photographic update on the changes in the bar and gogo scene? This certainly deserves a category, and we could also add anyone who does current survey reports, like Gabor's reports on the scene. I'd like to see others in this category for balance, but I can appreciate it's a major undertaking to document gogos, observations (good or bad), pricing...everything that goes into Gabor's reports, love em or hate em. I could do quite a bit, since I usually hit 5 or 6 gogos a night at least once a week, and I try not to go to the same ones each time, but I can't use pictures (like Idefix) and I don't have attitude (like Gabor)...so I have little to say about each one.

I'm using IE10 right now and it does everything I need it to do. I will happily switch to Chrome if there is an advantage in doing so. I await any intelligent replies. I thought "it works" would be adequate, based on your reported problems. I've not used IE for years. I switched to Chrome from Firefox a couple of years ago. It's quick, has good compatibility with all sites I've encountered, has a great number of useful add-ons from developers. Nothing I could say to compare with IE tho, since I've not used it. You might get better info looking for a browser review study. What you're hearing here is a lot of us use Chrome.

I'm thinking I may have had some one time. It's tiny little black eggs very salty strong taste. Was that likely to be beluga caviar? It came in a tiny tin and I wasn't given very much on a cracker. I don't remember where or when that was tho, but I can see that black egg on a cracker in my memory.

Not that critical...just stop discussing caviar/roe, though it has been informative. I'm saddened to hear that beluga caviar production has been halted. I always wanted to try it, but the price! Now that it is illegal, I am sure you can still get it, but it'll be even more expensive. BTW, I couldn't eat those salmon roe. I've only used them for fish bait. Now, flying fish roe, that's another thing altogether. I love those.

I used the Android browser to access the forum (and the Dolphin browser as well) using a Samsung tablet, and I don't see the toolbar either. But, frankly, I don't remember ever seeing it. Can you find another Invision forum where the toolbar is present using an Android browser? If so, I'll open an incident with Invision about this upgrade.

If you have turned off the full editor, that light switch in the upper left of the reply box (which you say is not there), can enable it. Since you don't see the switch, can you attach a screenshot of what you do see?

Yep, I can't do quotes or multiquotes with IE 11 either. MSFT has done it again.
