  1. You mean like this definition? Whifferdill turn A whifferdill turn turn (also wolferdil or whiferdill) refers to any number of fancy aerobatic maneuvers performed in an aerial flight show or while flying aggressively. It is a turn with both horizontal and vertical components, usually performed at the end of one maneuver in preparation for the ne... Found on http://en.wikipedia....iki/Whifferdill
  2. Thanks for the review. It sounds very good and an excellent price.
  3. Urban Cowboy
  4. An Officer and a Gentleman
  5. Oops. Brain fart. Imho, she's one of the sexiest women alive..still the best in Lonesome Dove, but only for TV... Unfaithful
  6. 1600. Pennsylvania
  7. Not for a while, I think. I'm going to try to make it for one of those dinner specials.
  8. No need for "ideas". That's the way it's set up. I've explained it somewhere in one of these reputation threads. I'll just sum it up by saying "Think positive!".
  9. Gabbits? A la Hobbits?
  10. Actually, it does. I don't appreciate devil's advocates who want to argue a position without believing in it. It's just annoying...but, that's just my opinion. Or perhaps, I'm just being a devil's advocate.
  11. I'd like to see our newly self-appointed devil's advocate respond to that.
  12. Well, from reading the post to which you replied, the poster was asking if there were such a name, so neither has a "name" yet. Care to go first? Or can we get back to the OP?
  13. Why don't you spend much of your time railing about secrets forum, calling people losers, fools, dupes, impotent, and other insults to find out what kind of people might take a dislike to you?
  14. He asked to be banned. I felt it was high time I do what he asked.
  15. It's the ONLY enabled (not faded) button in the picture YOU uploaded.
  16. Just to be clear, that is additional information, but doesn't address the effort involved as I described, since I said nothing about how to view the target's posts. That can certainly be done without visiting their profile.
  17. Not really. If you click Reputation, it will show you the posts where he has given reputation points.
  18. Three? Then it must be "the will of the people".
  19. Yes, let's see if the one who unilaterally boosted Gabor has an explanation. I'm not going to out him, but I wouldn't complain if someone else sussed it out. The thing is, it's a bit of work to boost someone so diligently...you've got to view the target's posts in sequence, click on each one, plus vote it, then go back and take the next one, plus vote it, till you run out of plus votes. Then, the next day, you have to find out where you left off, because you can't plus vote a post you've already done. Having done that, repeat as above. It's obviously somebody with more time on their hands to "anonymously" mess with the system. It's also someone who has a low post count. If he felt so strongly about this, he should have spent all that time, posting rather than sabotaging.
  20. And, due to some obvious vote stuffing by a couple of members I have located, the limits are back to +10/-2. The characteristics of a vote stuffer are that they make it a point to use all their + votes for a single member, and use their - votes for anyone who disagrees with that poster...on a daily basis. They are rating the poster, not the posts. Thus you have, through the efforts of a single "white knight righting all wrongs" member, a rapid rise in the reputation of a particular member. There is a member group that vote stuffers can be placed in that removes their voting rights. It's there for further abusers of the system. Both BigD and Gabor have benefited from their white knights. Here is an example of a vote stuffer's effect on one poster's rep rating:
  21. I didn't know the answer or make the connection when the OP was made...I was going along with the browser settings idea. Then, it just hit me while I was reviewing the new posts. That button takes you into and out of Rich Text Mode, so it would likely disable all the formatting buttons...I tried it, and it did. Like you said, you learn something new everyday (if you're lucky).
  22. Click the icon on the upper left first row of your edit toolbar. It's the only one that's enabled, so it should be easy to find.
  23. I had to provide a work permit for post paid for both TRUE and DTAC. Not sure what they would have done if I didn't have one.
