Your phone map is probably updated over the internet, so it's current. Can it also do voice and turn by turn navigation? I have a standalone GPS with a map file on local storage. Tom Tom 2010 doesn't show it. I'm still waiting for the update that does voice navigation in Issan Lao dialect.
