Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Poor LB`s under attack from cheap chalee Indians
MM replied to danboy's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
There was another story today about two Indian guys who stole a motorbike taxi driver's bike. Ballsy or stupid...yeah, stupid. -
He was in both http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Seven_Year_Itch

He might be right. I bought 3 Samsung LCD TVs from Big C last year, and within a month, one of them had a fried circuit board. I took it back to Big C, and they said it might be months before it was repaired. I ended up buying a new one instead (not from Big C, but it was a Samsung). These warranties are really a pain, when you're without the product for months at a time for repair...at least, with Big C. Incidentally, I had a problem with a media player I bought at Power Buy at Central, I took it in the first time after about 8 days, since it wouldn't boot. They tried it in the store and it worked. I took it home, and it wouldn't work. I spent a couple of weeks trying various things, and I finally gave up. I took it back to Power Buy again. They confirmed it was kaput, and gave me a replacement on the spot. Now that is service!

Ok, that is top shelf!

The information is at http://pattayapages.com/residence/. If you book there, it's 1450 baht/night.
-
Here are some photos of the Residence Garden rooms and grounds. Also, from now until Oct 31, 2012, book a room at the RG for 7 days or more, and get a complementary transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) when you leave. Airport transfer must be requested at the time of the booking. This is a savings of at least 900 baht, based on typical low fare transport rates by auto.
-
Too complicated!
-
I test booked 2 nights, April 1-2, with the same add ons, and get over 900b/night. I chose the double bed/double occupancy.

Now you know. I just moved it without comment. You're the one who started making a deal about the forum section. And, just to reiterate, I didn't notice anything other than a couple of LBs just standing around.
-
Ladyboy topics go in this section. You may not have noticed other topics about LBs ending up here. We got rid of our most outrageous LB posters several years ago. Once again, I'll remind you to read the forum rules, particularly #13.

I think you have to be someone who looks for the "package". I didn't notice it either.

Southern Star Resort and X Zone discount cards
MM replied to xzone nev's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Aside from the lack of draft beer during the flooding, every offer he has made according to which I have ordered (saying "I am on the internet" or "I would like a discount card") has been satisfied by the staff. I've never had a problem. They don't know me from the next guy, so it was not special treatment. -
Enjoy your stay in Hat Yai then. Your OP discussed the Pattaya location, in case you forgot. The point of Montydog's and sparkydave's posts were that your quoted starting price of 199b is nowhere to be found. 11 sqm for 1300 baht is pretty substandard. Have you tried to book the cheapest room you could, since you don't need the "amenities"? How basic are you willing to go? No aircon? Share one towel for you and your chosen companion? I just did a basic room, no "amenties" (no A/C, 1 towel, no WiFi, no TV)...705 baht. Skytop still sounds better.

Southern Star Resort and X Zone discount cards

I think that's a bit harsh. Some members are unhappy perhaps, but it seems the majority are not having issues. -
It's already over...they've been open nearly a week.
-
Sunrise Tacos? Tried the one in Bangkok with a fellow American, and we both found the food quality poor...neither of us finished our meals, and I doubt I'll ever go back. I've heard similar reports about the one in Jomtien.
-
I just had lunch at Mike's today. I ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. It was excellent!
-
Haven't seen any early closings lately, but I've been heading home earlier than I was when I wrote the OP. Any late owls to answer this?
-
Did you read Montydog's post #3? I reckon even Skytop might be a better deal, and that includes room service!
-
LOL. That's funny! Only a fool would recommend such a place run by shysters nickle and diming you for for the standard offerings elsewhere.
