Funny that. She had just watered the plants and mopped the deck, gotten it nice and clean. And then this windy downpour with sideways rain came in and threw water and detritus from the planters all over the deck again. A woman's work is never done, as they say. The rain had moved on within 20 minutes or so, btw.

Don't know about Hilton, but I've stayed at the 4 star Marriott Renaissance in BKK (5 star really, but still too new for that rating) for less than I paid for a drive up motel Marriott in a suburb of San Francisco.

I use picasa...google will get you lots of programs for resizing photos. Everyone has to do it at some time. Try google for "photo resize program"

That doesn't help at all. Facebook won't tell me how big the file is on your computer. You're trying to upload them from your computer, right? How big are they on your computer? Just use Windows Explorer to look at a file that didn't upload and see how many bytes it is. Anyway, the maximum upload size is 2 megabytes. If the file is bigger than that, it won't upload to this forum. You can resize it to below 2M, and it will work.

We must have had some local inventory, and now we've burned through it.

A couple of comments due. First,a cordon blue is not Japanese food. I'm sure I could get cheaper food regardless of ethnic origin elsewhere. Not the point at all. The point is that Japanese food, served in a nicely appointed Japanese restaurant is cheaper in Pattaya than my point of origin...USA west coast. But if I ever get the urge to eat at Tops :yikes , I'll give your suggestion a go.

Coming off of a couple of months of a Diet Coke shortage, bars in Pattaya now cannot get Tonic Water. Diet Coke has started appearing in stores, just about the same time as the tonic water dried up. So, if you're in the mood for a Gin Tonic, you might have to shop around. For the moment, FLB has tonic water. I went to five gogos last night, and the only one with tonic water was Roxy...and they were on the last of it.
