Where do you think villa finds his dates?

Dude, I'm thinking you are the one stressing. I am the only person, as far as I know, who even mentioned toilet attendants, so how can you call that a "general feeling"? And, as to your comments, if you want to go into a urinal with a guy, that's up to you, but I am perfectly capable of taking care of my business without the assistance. Any decent bar will have an attendant who visits the men's toilet (preferably a hot female, but we can't always get what we want) every 15 minutes or so. Nobody needs the pervasive guy holding your weenie and massaging your back, showing you how a faucet works, handing you a towel, and then expecting 20-100b for the service. NOOB is what you sound like.

Old news, but it's nice you posted it. I've been with Schwab for decades, and they never charge ATM fees, and they reimburse you if you are charged. Of course, having 100M in their accounts ought to count for something.

Any bathroom with one or more ever-present male attendants should not be allowed on this list.

I don't know if you've seen them yet, but the newly remodeled Shark Agogo has the best toilets I've seen in a gogo.
-
I've heard that the reason the Atlantic Bar complex at on Second Road does not have a toilet for the 4 or 5 bars there, is because the owner of the bar area also operates a toilet around the corner, and it makes plenty of money. It's big money!

Both DTAC and AIS have unlimited data plans for about 800b/mo. -
Not sure about the water throwing on soi 8, but another friend got hosed down by a thai girl on soi Diana coming out of the LK Renaissance last night.

George Clooney. Damn, I think Diane Lane was so hot in Lonesome Dove.

Extra early start this year. I spoke to two thai girls tonight who were doused on soi 8 tonight (the 11th). It has started and it's another 9 or 10 days of this shit. Yes, it's such a wonderful Thai holiday and if we don't like it we should leave...right!

Its a surprisingly good read.

Don't you have a kitchen sink you want to throw in with your arguments?

packhike, it's not just the farangs...maybe the Thais learned some bad habits from them, I'll grant you that, but for several years, while going down Soi Buakhao on a baht bus at 9pm (nighttime), buckets of water were thrown on the bus by ...Thais, no farang in sight. I don't know if they are still doing it there, because now I have to run through the gauntlet at the VC Hotel where the fucking middle easterners hire water trucks to hose people down all day and after dark. One girl was killed last year at that intersection when her motorbike went out of control. Whoever is doing it, it's bad news in Pattaya. It has nothing to do with alcohol sales, so don't be an ass.

I added a few more thoughts to the quoted post, by the way. I notice that the use of the somtamthai account has changed from your posting using the account to her posting, so you've both been using the account. Paranoid? Maybe...but trying to make sure people are not misled.

Just an FYI, in case you thought the post was from Kampaengphet as indicated in the profile information. As to the point somtamthai was making, I do feel that complaints about Songkran, especially as it is celebrated in Pattaya, are valid. It's going to be possibly 10 days this year (12-21) from some reports, up from the usual 7 days. It's great for the holidaymakers who come to have a good time, some Thais might enjoy it, but it's pretty rough on those who live here and do mundane things like shopping and errands...holing up for 10 days (or 7, as the case may be), is a long period of time to avoid getting dirty water thrown in your face or avoiding going out and getting blinded while driving a motorbike. I have nothing against Thai customs or people, but I have some legitimate complaints about the way this holiday is celebrated in this particular city. And, no somtamthai, I don't feel I should have to go just because I don't like this holiday, just as you shouldn't have to leave California if you don't like some things about the way things are done there. You and I both have a right to our opinions without being deported or forced to leave by the locals.

FYI - Posted from California, USA.

Let's try to stay at least remotely on topic here.

I confirmed what I could.

logan's last post was from England.

But, if you were claiming to be in Thailand, and posting from where you are without using a proxy, I'd doubt your claim, since the location is close enough to where you are...and it's not Thailand.
-
Did somebody say that? I posted a satellite view of a house (sort of as a joke or dig at the poster) that was given as the location of a particular IP, but doubt it is the actual "address". I am pretty sure that the IP resolved to the correct city, state and country, however. Let's put this to the test...I get your IP as being near a city that has 7 letters starting with a B ending with an N, in a state that starts with M in the USA. Was that close?

Yeah, what Frosty said. If it's not something that happens to everyone, and from the responses, it appears it isn't, then it's probably the connection from your location to google servers...or pattayatalk servers. I've not noticed it being particularly slow myself.

You guys having fun?
