Dont think that is an option.....as he would not have an exit stamp for leaving Thailand in his passport so they may not give the visa. Unless you can get immigration to give you a exit stamp with a little tea money but I doubt they would. I tried myself and that was with a family member who works in immigration in Chonburi and they would not do it. Even if they give the visa in the US, you would then need to get the passport stamped again on "re-entry".

If it was me, I would just get some people, even the police to "have a word" Do you or your family not know any police in the area. Not the sort of thing you want to get involved in personally...........Thai jails are hell so I have been told. I did have to call the Tourist police once last year and all I got was a busy signal but that was in Chiang Mai.

Internet 200 baht...........I am getting robbed, pay 1000 baht per month for 1mb broadband with tot.......never get anywhere near that bandwidth but good for downloading torrent files What about other things like....grooming supplies and how can you live on 100 baht per day for food. I have been living here for 15 months now. For the first 12 months I went crazy....as you do. I was spending approx 150000 baht per month. Now I have calmed right down (bored of going out all the time) and this month my expenses are approx 45000baht for everything. I do own my own car. Fuel bill is 2000baht per month....dont really use it that much. Condo rent is 9000baht (very nice 2 room penthouse condo with no rooms either side), UBC 2200 baht, internet 1000 baht, electricity 700 to 2000 baht (average 1300 baht), telephone 1000 baht. 5000 baht for my wife to buy shit that she doesnt need. So that is 21500 baht before you eat or buy any other essentials. I live in chiang mai.........cheaper up here. dont go out anymore keep fit every day (membership already paid for the year so cost nothing) eat healthy thai food dont smoke My 45000 baht includes all rent for condo, bills, food and misc. My question is some expats on here say they live on 20000baht.............HOW???? This is a genuine question I am curious to know how you do it. I am married dont drink or butterfly and still spend 45000 baht per month. I just really cant see how it is done on that ammount especially if you go out to as some BM's seem to do. Please enlighten me as to how you do it with cost breakdown.........really would like to know how it is done.

From what I have been told you need to have a work permit if you want to get a multiple entry Non-b visa in any country other than your country of birth. If you go to Loas or Penang without a work permit they will issue a 3 month non-b visa then you go back to thailand get work permit,,,,, then you go back after 3 months with work permit and get your 1 year visa. For my last non-b I just flew back to the UK and got the visa in 2 days from Hull with a letter from a thai company. Now I am free to get my work permit. For a definite answer go to thaivisa.com all the info you will ever need about visas is on there.

As stated.......leases are limited by law to 30 years. 30 + 30 years only have a possibility of being enforced between the 2 original parties. Only a 30 year lease can be registered at the land office. Wait a few years until these 30 year leases try to get renewed and see what happens. I personally dont know of anyone who has renewed their lease after the 30 years is up.

I hate to burst your bubble but unless you are qualified in a specific area that is needed in Thailand it is very difficult to get a job here or earn money here and anybody who already is earning a good living here are not going to tell you how they do it. Why make further competition for yourself. The only option is open your own business......tricky. or Teach........basically you get up to 30000baht per month at the most.

However I was at the 7/11 the other day and I saw this drink called Sato....not sure what the hell it is but it was 25baht per big bottle so I thought I would give it a try just for the hell of it.
