I went there few weeks ago to take a look at two different type of rooms. One on the 2nd floor, this room is hotel (not for sale), the lay out and size are normal (all normal double bed) and I think it is slightly smaller then Sandy Spring, simple furniture and is quite different from those you see on their website. Another type of room I visited was one room apartment and that is for sale (asking price Bath 4.2 million per unit). This room is nicer and is bigger than those on the first and second floors. These rooms appear to be condo room, not sure whether the hotel rooms are similar.

Stayed for only one night before moving to Areca Lodge in July this year. Quite a clean hotel but not sure wether they have safe in the room. I have also seen the other two hotels next to it and I think this is a better one in term of cleanliness.

Yes, they asked for the credit card details. I called and emailed them I do not have a credit card, they finally agreed to hold my booking to 4.00 PM

Arriving terminal 2 at 10.40 AM, going to book a private car soon. As there is only two of us (1 luggage only), anyone wants to share the ride and cost ( THB1,050 inludes parking fee THB50 and tollway THB150)? As I will be waiting for the driver at the terminal 2 "receiption counter" after custom clearance, you can also wait for me over there. Cheers

Anyone comments on the room as compared to Sunshine Vista and Dynasty Inn, Pattaya. Emailed Sunshine Vista, very fast reply that they only have Delux room available which is THB1,700 per night. As a result, I called (because they did not respond to my email) and booked a superior room at THB1,250 (double occupancy) per night at the Pool Wing for mid Dec 05. According to the reservation staff's advice, pool wing is quieter than the garden wing, kindly advise and suggest better hotel for this price, if any. Thanks Alan

For Tigerair, I think your chance of getting a good deal is very slim. Firstly, late November to late December is a peak season. Secondly, budget airlines normally want you to confirm your booking few weeks in advance in order to get very cheap promotion tickets.

TigerAir is backed by SIA, they use brand new Airbus. If there is not much different in price I would defintely go for TigerAir. Lookout for their promotion price which is always extremely cheap. FYI, I got their promotion fare for a round trip Chaing Mai and Singapore for only THB500 (less then USD15). Currently, they have a promotion price of SGD9.98 to various destination. You may wish to check out their website again.

I used Mr T on 2 July 05. My flight arrived Bangkok at 10.45 am, I took half an hour to clear the custom. The taxi driiver is a lady, using Toyotta Altis arrived at the information couter only at 12.55 which I had to wait for more than one hour. I paid 850 + tollfee 150 + parking charge +45 = BHT1,045 The driver travelled at the speed of 110 and took 2 hours and 15 min to arrive my hotel at south Pattaya.The car condition is reasonably good. To save the trouble of wating too long for the driver I suggest: 1. Tell them to call the information counter if there is any delay 2

Beside taxi and bus service from the airport, would that be advisable to go to the Northen bus terminal at Mochit and catch an aircon bus to Pattaya. If so, please advise : 1) Wehther it is more convenient and faster to take a taxi from the airport or a train (to avoid traffic jam) to the Northen bus terminal? I 2) How many hours trip from Mochit bus station to Pattaya bus station.? Does the bus pick up passengers along the way? 3) Are there aircon bus from the Mochit station? What is the bus fare ? The service of Orange is horrible, please read the following : My Question to Orange On 21 May 05 I bought an orange card for THB199 from a 7 Eleven shop in Bangkok. The staff helped me to activate my line at about 2 PM and told me to use it after 15 minutes after her call. However, the line was not activated after an hour despite my repeated call to 1331. I went back to the 7 Eleven shop, the staff also tired for me but to no avail. I will only stay there for one day because of my GF. as she wants to enjoy the sea and some massage on the beach (preferably the hotel is very close to or on the beach). I will enjoy the rest of the days in South Pattaya. The last time I visited Pattaya I went to Hollywood disco/pub, the ambience was good but the sound system was very bad.
