I have been using Turkish for three years now between Bangkok and Baku with a few side trips to belgium, they are very good, IFE mostly upgraded on all planes, food is good. I fly every month with them and do not have any complaints, they have just refurbished the lounge in Instanbul and is excellent, there is even a pool table in it.

DD you missed 'hearded'....bit of a harsh reply to someone giving a view of his experience.....and please tell me how you make out he is a racist from this post.....because he used the word ARAB....sorry but isn't that what they are ? I don't like flying BA and says the BRIT stewardesses are arrogant..I'm a Brit....does this make me racist ?

Hi GM, I had the same problem with a sore back when I had the Honda Jazz, but with the Vigo now no probs. What I did get was a seat cover which is made up of small wooden beads which suprisingly helps when driving long distances

Mick, I'll get Mr Khem's number, he is the guy that owns the Ratchawadee Resort next to the airport. Total genuine guy and has/had properties for rent, normally play golf with him. Even if you go to the resort for a day out swimming and such just ask at reception for him and say Bobby sent you

Mick, I left on Jan 1 and was there for a month, seriously if going into town at night was wearing a fleece, socks and hat. If night fishing, big jumper, fleece, wooly hat and normally we would build a bonfire. I know phoning the wife it's all I get is "oh cold, cold", yeah same as offshore azerbaijan at this time of year, although better than last year as was in Georgia and temps of -27degC common throughout winter

Going to Khon Kean and Chiang Mia in June
turboman replied to Dr Mick's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Dr Mick, I would recommend Sofitel as far superior to the other two main ones, but the Charoen Thani is nice also and about 1300 baht a night so not too bad. All three are centrally located and next to most of the expat bars -
Land prices up north are going up all the time, I was lucky when I got mine 4/5 years ago and put a big 3 bedroom bungalow on it and I mean big....cost was 1.3 million in total, probably in the region of 3 million now as lakeside also. In Khon Kaen there is so many houses being built at present and existing estates are now developing like phase 4 and such
