  10. Nah, she and I don't have any sort of arrangement, other than to have fun every time we see each other. Happy to oblige, but I have warn you she's an agency coyote, formerly at WhatsUp and Sapphire, now at Sensations. Actually, I owe you a thanks. I met her the first time on an FLB crawl back in October. She's been into FLB with me several times since. Evil
  11. Many of the items in the same category have the same price. I believe the price of every menu item ends in "8" as it is a lucky number. Evil
  12. I've had some very good meals recently at the Saigon Bistro on the sixth floor of Central Festival Mall on 2nd Road near Pattaya Klang. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, service is attentive and most importantly of all, the food tastes great! We ordered the appetizer combi plate and the warm beef salad, plus I had pho dac biet (rice noodle soup with beef brisket, beef balls and slices of rare beef) and my companion had a shrimp wrap dish. The total cost was 890 baht, which included the four dishes, two SMLs for me and a large Coke for her. We couldn't finish all the fo
  13. Had a very good meal at the street restaurant next to Sapphire (the go go) on Soi 15. The steam fish with lime was fantastic, with a great broth. The grilled octopus was also excellent, as was the pork dish. A friend had a plate of fried rice with seafood that he thought was fine, too (I didn't take a photo). Total cost for three people (four dishes, but we only drank water)was 890 baht (the steamed fish was 300 baht). Evil
  14. Coyote dancers at FLB! Wowww!

  15. My situation was the same until last week, when I was "introduced" to My Way by a poster on another board. I'd been past it dozens of times, but never thought to go in. I literally didn't know what I was missing, since its food is far superior to what you get at Kiss. Evil
  16. Be on the alert for spoof posts on April 1.

  17. I believe the street vendors sell pork scratchings (deep-fried pork rinds) rather than crackling. It's a rather complicated process to make traditional British crackling. My mom was from the U.K. and I remember how she did it. The outer layer of fat had to be dried, then scored and salted. The roast would go into the oven at maximum temperature for 30 minutes, then a hour or more (depending on size) at a much lower temperature. The last fifteen minutes would be at max heat again, with the broiler used for the final couple of minutes. Evil Some pics lifted from the Internet t
  18. It's in Jomtien off Thepprasit Road. From the Punch and Judy website: "The Punch and Judy is located between Pattaya 3rd Road and Thepprasit Soi 8. 62/191 soi 8 moo 10, nongprue banglamung, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand." You can find a map here: http://punchandjudy.co.th/location/ Evil
  19. I had a very good meal at My Way, a Dutch restaurant in the shopping arcade on 2nd road that is across the street from Mike's Mall and runs parallel to Soi Diana. I had a bowl of Dutch-style tomato soup as a starter. Very tasty! The main course was a 180-gram filet mignon wrapped in bacon and with mushroom sauce. Mashed potatoes and a small green salad were the sides. The beef was excellent, tender and cooked the way I ordered it. The filet mignon cost 305 baht and the whole meal - starter, main course, a SM Light and tip - set me back 500 baht. I'll definitely
  20. It depends how you define the word "attack." There's a fair amount of snide remarks on this and every other board, and some exchanges get out of hand, but they seldom amount to personal attacks. There's no doubt, though, that insults and derogatory remarks about a BM's real-life family are personal attacks. It's a bit like cops who'll seldom intervene if a motorist is going a few miles over the speed limit but it becomes a felony stop if the motorist is 40-50 miles mph above the limit. I believe MM is serving notice that attacks on family members are in the felony-stop category.
  21. I believe short is referring to the fact that a rule already exists forbidding personal attacks: 6. Posts attacking individuals are not permitted. You may disagree with anyone's opinion but not bag the individual. I disagree with what you say, is fine. You are a moron, is not. I interpreted short's post as meaning no additional rule was needed as attacks on family members are forbidden by rule 6. Any member who insulted or attacked a BM's family could be warned or banned under that rule. But I also believe MM wants to emphasize that an attack on a real-life family member is a part
