  9. sorry, i thought you understood the point of this and had read the website. the airline is planning only 138 seats on this plane, therefore the price will be high for people who WISH to smoke on board and with that high price and the major advertising of the smoking on board facts, it would be sensible to assume that a person with a major phobia about being sat next to a "chain smoking moron" on a long flight would be bright enough not to book a ticket on that airline IF we assume that this is to be the only airline that allows smoking on board a scheduled flight for paying passe
  10. not sure why its a dimwit statement, people who fly it will i assume be ok with other peoples smoke and by giving fresher air will make the flight more comfortable. looking at the website http://smintair.com/ it looks high class/ high price for people who are willing to pay that sort of price for the chance to do what they wish

  19. putting your dates into travelsupermarket.com brings up air china to bkk on 24th december and return in january at 455 pounds. might be worth inputting your dates and see what comes up. everyone finishes work on 22/23rd december so those two dates are difficult anyway.
  20. i flew thai business class last christmas from london to bkk, the plane was the 747 and business was on the upper deck and a bit old, the seats had a small screen in the arm and they had a pull down screen at the end of the cabin showing the same movie. the seats only had 50 inch pitch and slight recline and not that good, the seat in front of me had collapsed and fully reclined only and the lady had to put up with that all the way. food was reasonable but not spectacular, service was good. i looked at thai again for this christmas but the prices have risen by 20% and i didnt feel
  21. shouldnt last that long, i am there in december and it better be finished or i will scream
  22. sounds good, an idea of the menu and prices would help though
