Back in Pattaya in October, although I have been a few times before I have never looked to see if they sell the latest football strips. Not that I would know the latest...if it smacked me in the face. Anyway..a relative has asked if I can bring him back a strip, so just wanted to see if they sold this years strips out there and also where was the best place to go. :D

Usually they are on the ball (pun intended) with new strips. Beckam Real Madrid jersey was all over the place last summer even before he had been assigned a squad number.

I got football jerseys in a place at one of the shops on Beach Road at about Soi 13. I would not recommend Mike Shopping Plaza as they cater to bus loads of tourists and prices tend to reflect this. :D

Best place is a shop called Candy on second road opposite Thai Military Bank. Its next to a travel agent as I recall. I bought a load of the new red England shirts in April. Low price and good quality.

Candy's every time, you won't get better quality anywhere else as you would get there IMHO! all depends how many you are buying but you are looking to pay around 250 baht! you can find her opposite siam bayview hotel, pattaya second road! its a small shop selling T-shirts, shorts, hats etc but if you ask for the football shirts she will then take you through to the back where you can pick and choose as you like also there you will see various designer cloths, von dutch, lacoste etc!

Hope you get what your looking for!

Hi,

Try the Tuesday Friday market. You can get cheap shirts for 80 to 90B and good ones for 120 to 150B. Just bought a load to help pay for my trip next year.

Cheers Doug.

Doolish,

Make sure the badges are in the right place and weather they have the addias, nike logos, etc because you will find that alot of them have not and are of a very much low quality compared to those on sale at Candy's!

Strange lot us humans. My GF has gone home to village and was wearing an England shirt that we bought in Camden. Everyone asked where she got the shirt, so she told them. One of the men there wants me to buy him a Man U shirt to take out on next trip. He doesn't mind that it will be 40 quid or so, as long as it comes from here. To top this off, as a Londoner, it is realy going to pain me to buy it. I may have to get my son's mate to do it for me

Yep, I can't believe that a lad living in my town is a Man U supporter, he gets a lot of stick, but may be useful, in this case. :D
