Bangkok to Udon Thani

I just booked a return flight with www.AirAsia.co.th from BKK to Udon for only 1495baht inc taxes. Always planned on going up there for a few days but never got round to doing it. This fare gave me the added incentive I needed. If these cheap fares carry on I wonder how many other guys on the board will take advantage? From what I've heard and read there are a few farang run pubs/bars sprouting up in Udon (for better or for worse, depending on your viewpoint) and there is a significant expat community there.

they were 595 TB last year so long as you booked 3 weeks ahead... good planes and reasonably reliable

 

expat community is mostly US servicemen, not saying that's good or bad LOL

Bought ticket to BKK at an Air Asia desk/stall in a Udon hypermarket end of last year for a little under 1000b to fly in 3 days time.No problems at all good service would use them again and with more notice price was around 600b.

Me and TG flew from BKK to Udon Thani with Air Asia last June.

Faultless service for @ £10 each.

Will be going again next month (hopefully).
