Simply the worst lounges in the world. Vile.

 

Will never fly them again!

Only flew once with them, BKK to Manila business class, and IMO were also the worst airline I have had the misfortune to travel with.

Rude cabin staff and lack of service, but then I am English.

Was even warned by a German friend not to travel with them, Lol.

 

Tourist class on Thai Air or EVA much better.

Flew Lufthansa business class to LOS. Staff were very unhelpful, wouldn't entertain advance seat requests. Seats were decent size though. Would only use long haul again if the price was very good.

 

Have found their european service to be much better with comfortable leather seats in economy from Heathrow.

I must have been lucky , i flew man-fra-bkk business last year and thought it was great... even the lounge at frankfurt was A1, help yourself becks on draught... Service was spot on too .. flew many times on european routes also and no probs...... maybe i'm easy pleased

comparing Lufthansa with Thai, Thai is better, they have more legspace and the girls are walking around all night bringing some drinks. With Lufthansa, after dinner service is finished, the girls go sleeping somewhere (maybe) and you have to do self service (but you CAN do that and pick up as many red wines as you want).

 

LH has even a lounge in BKK airport, I always go there before flying home and pick up some german newspapers and journals, because you don´t get them on the plane (thai air). All german speaking people are happy, when I pass them on after reading.

on the subject of plenty of booze i flew qatar last year and the steward got sick of us asking for drinks so he just showed us where they were kept and told us to help ourselves !

Oooops! I travel with them tomorrow, Barcelona-Munich-BKK. I checked this thread a bit too late!.

 

Well, it'll be only 13 hours of flight...I'll survive I guess. And some cute TG will cheer me up later!

 

Too bad the trip back I'll be flying with them and there won't be any TG's (any girl, indeed, save my mom) waiting in BCN, and the next day, back to the job! :crying
