On my last trip my usual hotel had jacked there prices up to nearly 1500 baht a night , so it was time for a change after much research on these forums i decided on staying at the Baybreeze hotel partly due to fellow boardie ting tone raving bout it .

Reservation was made by e mail and on arrival check in went smoothly now i was on the top floor and they only have one lift so sometimes there can be a wait for it .

Heres a few pictures of the standard room i had this cost 600 baht a night which i think is excellent value

Wardrobe in the corner which contains the mini safe - the battery decided to die one night and could not gain access to my valuables ,upon speaking to the front desk found out that only the manger had the master keys and had gone home for the weekend :3some ,anyway they phoned him and he brought the spare key and hey presto all sorted.

The bathroom was o.k. shower in the bath, usual comp toiltries , gettin extra towels or pillows was never any drama and my room always cleaned promptly.

What more could you want but a beer bar complex.LOL

Summary

I would stay there again at 600 baht its good value ,rooms are clean not huge but just right the room also contains a new tele with all the right sockets for plugging your dvd player in etc

The only downside is that there is only 1 lift and sometimes there can be a wait .

Location is just off second road think 1 block north of Kiss food drink and about 10 yards in to the soi .

The big suites are 1200bt? my friend stayed in one and liked it very much. It featured a parlor and master bedroom. the carpet was not up to par as stated.

Ting Tong

First off thanx for the heads up on this hotel i owe u a beer!!

My buddy checked in for 4 nights and they only had "big rooms " left at 800 baht .

These rooms were on the fifth floor.

You guys aren't wrong about the rooms being small, going by the pictures posted. I stop at the Sandy Spring and the rooms would be at least three times bigger, although they cost a whooping 1050 Baht. All the standard rooms come with a nice big balcony with a table and chairs and a big fridge.

This trip I stayed 5th floor big room at Baybreeze for 800.

Last trip I paid 2500 for a suite room on 7th floor at SS.

I think the Baybreeze is better value for the rooms I had, but I am sure for 1050 a room at SS is good value, probably quieter too.
