Third time to LOS 1ST to Pattaya

Just looking for a bit of info. Have read heaps of the reveiws and am stuffed if I can work out what hotel to stay in, any ideas for a first timer in Pattaya, landing early April for two weeks, not into bugs in the bed but dont wanna pay a shitload.

Not sure if I am contrevening the forums pages by asking this question, suppose i will find out.

Would like some where aircond, pool and ok to take back guests without too much hassle and yeah near the action.

And this may be dumb question but what is Farang, foreigner i guess.

hangin, yes farang is the term Thais use to refer to foreigners of caucasian extraction.

 

Many members stay at the Residence Gardens which has 2 pools, though one is used on a fairly regular basis for training by Mermaid Dive. If you join the Members' Section you'll see a link to the Residence Gardens which will give you a room at 1,350 baht per night. The bedroom is seperate from the living room, which is quite good. You can walk to Walking Street in 10 or 15 minutes or you can jump on a baht bus (they pass by the hotel entrance) and be there within 5 minutes for just 10 baht.

 

It's also guest friendly.

hi hangin I like the LEK hotel on soi 13 and 2nd road good pool the new wing will run you 1000/1800 depending on size of room and time of year(you are going low season)the old wing which is where i stay is more than adequate goes for 700/800

and is very girl friendly its a great location and a great hotel IMHO.

Try either Eastiny Inn, Eastiny Place, Flipper Lodge, Flipper House or Sunshine hotel. They are located on Soi8/7 and should run you around 800 baht.

Stayed at the Areca Lodge in late September 2004. Large clean room, nice restraunt, guest friendly, although they keep the guests id until she leaves. They have their own web site arecalodge.com I think, google to be sure. 900B if I remember correct. Highly recommended.

Dynasty Inn . soi 13 new clean room"s guest friendly, good aircon, in the middle of the action, you can walk to most of it. The bhat bus stop is just outside , the only down side ,is the pool it"s on the small size, no use for swiming, but most of the time you get it to your self, Price is around 1200 bhat .
