hi there i will be staying at the sandy springs in 2 months time and was wondering whether the people at the reception desk check the id cards of the bar girls or do they not bother.

I guess it is a hit and a miss as to whether they do. I brought one girl in and they asked for her ID card at the desk. At another time I just walked in with a girl and had my key with me so went straight to the elevators and they did not ask for ID's.

I have stayed at the Sandy Spring on my last several trips and never been asked for the girl or girls ID. I agree with kikc69, its hit or miss. I think if you don't want the desk to take the ID, just walk in and go straight to the lift. If you picked up a beach freelancer or not sure if you have a katoy, stop by the desk and have them take a look at the ID.

Never ask but do speak to you private if girl looks very young

Agree with the above - it is sort of the best of both worlds. If you stop on the way in and look over to the receptionist they will call over your girl for an ID, but if you walk in without eye contact and head to the elevator they will not stop you or your friend(s).

Many hotels do this for your safety only. And are more than willing to skip it in the future if you sign a paper. Not sure about Sandy.
