Thats the problem going to Pu Dong and you must fly back on yourself, could not work out time differences, if you land at mignight, you would have to wait for the 9:00 Thai Air bus to heaven

Best option for people from the UK is go to Cologne or Frankfurt or Amsterdam first.

From there you have numerous options to go:

nonstop from FRA by LH, TG, RB, with one stop by KL, EK, CI (also nonstop and very cheap from AMS), SQ (not cheap)

Fares ex FRA from 350 €, so around 210 Quid.

Have a look on www.opodo.de, they have all options.

Guys, it's your holiday, you don't need to be changing planes or flying crappy airlines just to save a few quid.

Keep your eyes peeled in the newspapers and on the internet etc.

There will be some decent fares show up on direct flights, in time.

Hi manfredgermany 210 pound that is cheap, especailly as we can get an easyjet flight to amsterdam from 35 pound return,i checked out your link but you can not translate it to english :clueless but iam in amsterdam next week so will check with some travel agents there and maybe they can do a better deal than we get here with china buisness, it would not surprise me as i seen on the news a while back that the dutch and germans etc pay upto 40% less for there holidays than what brits do thanks. <laugh

bigmofo,

the 210 Quid is the starting price.

Anyway, try to have a look under www.royalorchid.de, then submenu Flugpreise, then look for China Airlines, Royal Brunei (no alcohol served, byo) or TG offers.

Cheapest ex AMS was definitely China Airlines, but worth while to also check under BA.com and then look for starting point Cologne or Frankfurt. For example, their business prices ex Germany via London are 60% lower (!!!) than BA ex London.

TG prices: http://www.royalorchid.de/flu/flu_nav/fluind_tg.htm

RB specials: http://www.royalorchid.de/flu/flu_nav/fluind_bi.htm

But I believe you have to book early enough to get these prices.
