Island & Accomodation

Can anyone recommend a good Island to go to near Pattaya (don't want to fly or have long journey) and also recommend a hotel there. Thinking maybe Koh Samet.

You can go to Koh samet.....koh chang.......or koh larn (opposite pattaya for the day)......another is Got Pai.....which is just a bit further than koh larn...but take your beer and grub...in a cooler box as this is a deserted island....and no refreshments available.......but the beach is fucking tremendous......clearer waters than you have ever seen....with loads of TG's, beer and a speed boat....with the odd bit of Thai and English grub.....a great day out..!!!!

 

You can hire the speed boats from the beach..!!!!!......

 

Good place to have a wild day out...

Thanks Millwall was thinking of going for 3 or 4 days though so maybe that's not enough there. Any idea about some decent accomodation?

I would recommend Ko samet. Perfect for a 3-4 day trip with your Tg.

The best and livliest beach is Hat Sai Kaew. Thera are loads of accomodation to choose from. Stayed at Sai Kaew beach Resort in february, very nice place quite expensive though.

Go to Ko-Samet, I've been there a few times and Hat sai kaew is the best place, stayed at Hat sai kaew villas for about 900baht per night , large rooms some with a/c some fan, wish I was there now.
