hi clubman I am glad that you enjoyed the curry ,I will agree that the soi is not among the shinning lights of pattaya ,I only found it because i went in search of crazy daves when I saw on tv that he served apple crumble and custard(my favourite)and there it was, not the best surroundings but for me the best food and thats what im about every time

hi all thanks to all those who found my previous posts helpful just a few words more sorry its not your cup of tea fat controler but "I" like the sweetness and that all i can say about that,for all the others that asked about other dishes nee will do almost anything if asked but the menu is limited(the one drawback in my opinion)tho she does exactly what i want and does it exactly as I like it. the nan is freshly made but is only plain or garlic flavoured hi dave I would just finish by saying I dont know exactly where she supplies but I do know she supplies other outlets in the jomtien area,and at the prices nee and roy charge its well worth a try as you may like me find a place that suits you better than you can imagine

ps I know that you dont do food in your place dave but she does supply packed curries that you can freeze at home well worth considering if you stay full time in pattaya

pps still love your bar but wondered where the keyboard player and his ancient keyboard went

He planned to go to Norway (where he is now ) for 3 months and then return to us, A week or so before he left he gave me a list of demands including a monthly salary of 85000bht + expenses.

Obviousley i can't and won't pay that sort of money, Its a shame because he was great. (He also had a full years WP)

The thai guy I have now worked for me previously and IMO he is the best pianist we've ever had.

Got to say for a place like Pattaya it was a good one.

 

Lot's of rough trade round there, tattooed brits, with skin head haircuts, and poor falangs roaming round. Did not even take the bodyguard his night off.

 

Never been there before but good to see how the poor live. A brit even tapped me for a sub poor fucker I gave him 10baht for some sappalot

The best curries are to be had in Singapore, Penang or KL. With cheap flights now available combine a visa run with a curry tour. Great.

The WORST Indian/English curry i have had in pattaya was in Tops. As you walk in Tops its on your left in the Cool Kitchen(think thats the right name).

I walked past that place today, A big farang guy was sitting at the table with his shirt undone and his belly was hanging over his belt

Did'nt really like walking into a public place with that prick sitting there with his belly hanging out, and i mean right in ful view of diners! Must have been European,

Had a curry there in Febuary. Though it was ok, but its not really a restaurant, more a canteen. I'm used to English curry which is top class if you know where to go. Definitely room for good curry house in Pattaya, could we convince some of the tailors/touts to take up cooking ? I love seafood so don't miss curries but it must be hard on some people who are addicted to them to find it so hard to get a good one.

Don't get me wrong, I've had some superb curries in the Ol' Dart but no better than some of the authentic curry houses in Malaysia or even Tokyo, where many are run by Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, etc.

you know Asian people from the sub continent that should know what their talking about
