MNL- BKK and return

Some friends of mine are visiting the PI while I'm in LOS and want to hook up in Pattaya. What airlines other than Thai, Phillipine Airlines, Cathy Pacific and Singapore should I try looking at for fares? The travel sites here all will not let you do a booking or inquire without starting in the US for a departure. Looking for good price. They only are going to be here for around 5 or 6 days before returning to the PI.

Go to the airlines home site or site for the country from which you want to fly. Most of the airline web sites have a link at the top of the page for their other sites, e.g., on the Singapore Air site, top right hand corner of the page you will see a link that says, "Country/Region." Click on that and there you go.

I think you'll find that only Thai, Philippine and Kuwait Airlines fly MNL-BKK direct.

 

It may be worth comparing the price against AirAsia via KL or Jetstar/Tiger Airways via SIN.

I see Malaysia Airlines flies from KL to Cebu in the Philippines. But it has one stop so I suppose it is via Manila.

try tiger or aisaair. One of them has a special bkk to clark-manila for about $125us.

Neither Tiger Airways nor AirAsia flies BKK-MNL other than via SIN/KUL respectively. Thai Air Asia has been touted to start the route but nothing has appeared in its schedules yet.

my mistake tiger goes between singapore and manila. to fly from bkk requires flying thru singapore. tiger will not book it as a connection and tiger is selling tickets on their website for sin to manila. check out tiger air website. somebody is offering a bkk to manila direct flight for around $75 us each way. I was checking it out and found the fares and the booking for some dates i was looking at. Somebody else out their must remember what airline it is?

Could it be PAL who are doing that fare .

 

They are currently offering BKK-MNL return for 10.8k Baht.
