I have had some good feedback here but I now want to get a booking into the system for Pats. 21 days to wheels up!

 

I want to stay in the central area, Soi 7 down to Soi 13 say, but not stuck in concrete, and for less than 1000 per night. User friendly, preferably in-room safe and good pool.

 

Please let me have your suggestions for the best deals at the moment.

Flipper House.............soi 7........flipper lodge soi 8.........easty inn soi 8 ......eastiny place soi 8.......sunshine soi 8 .......sunbeam soi 8.........etc etc....

 

Should keep you occupied...!!!!!!!

 

P.S. not that i spend most of my time round these areas.....ooooooohhhhh YES..!!!!!

What about Lek or Apex Hotels? Cheapest possible I think. It's low season so don't forget your bargaining power.

Lek hotel would be about 7/800old wing and has the best hotel pool I have seen in pattaya,it has all the other facilities you need or want and is on soi 13/2nd rd corner.stayed there 2month this year great stay.

Apex is 450, about as cheap as it gets for anything above a shithole.

 

Rooms basic but ok, pool is in the shade just beyond the dining area so diners can enjoy your sleek-as-a-trout body as you flop poolside.

 

Front desk has displayed faulty math skills on numerous occasions when settling bills. Said faulty skills never seeming to be in favour of the punter.

 

95 baht brekkie buffet is not bad and can set you all day, pretty samesame as Lek Hotel buffet (same owners).

 

Excellent location, walk to Mike Mall in 2 minutes then through the a/c to Beach Road.

Hop a bahtbus to soi 7/8, soi 6 when you just gotta go, or Big C and the soapies.

Laundries on the side sois and web cafes.
