I have read good reviews on this place, I checked out the website and like how it looks. I got a good price on the Suite for four days in Oct 7-11, but they are asking me for a one night deposit, this is understandable, but I have answered 2 emails asking for details on how to do this.

All I get is the Bank name and account number, address, They do not seem to want a credit card. Im not sure even how to get a deposit into this bank. Anyone else ever experience this?

Thanks

I've stayed there.

Haven't done such a thing before (wiring money for a hotel reservation) and doubt I would.

It WASN'T very busy when I was there in May, so unless you are arriving late at night, it's a thai holiday or the first night is a weekend, I wouldn't send them an advance payment.

I stayed at the Lido for two weeks last month. I had a superior double, room 317. Pretty good size room. IMO, you cant beat the location. My only gripe about the room was the hot water would come and go, but not a big problem as it was hot as hell outside. Tip the cleaning girls right away and they will go out of their way to clean your room as soon as you leave. That was my 14th trip to LOS, and I have never sent a deposit, and I never will. Also, my buddy was there too, and he had one of the suites. Not worth the extra money, the superior is large enough. They will book your excusions for you at decent prices too. All around good hotel at a prime location. Hope this helps.Lido Beach Hotel

No problemo. I should mention that Tips is right next door, and has a great Bfast/Lunch for cheap.

Does not look like they have a pool which is something that I would want.
