Paul in Hootys in selling the tickets. Coolio will be in Hootys later tonight also. :D

Didn't know that he was still alive? Last thing I heard was he was doing a reality show for some german TV station (for Pro 7 in 2004 i think it was called something like "Comeback" and there were also people like "The weather girls", Haddaway, Limahl and so on). He must have been pretty desperate to do such a show 2guns

Check out some pics - must have been the low point in hus career :D

More like crap music  :D

:D

Yes. I try to be understanding of youth tastes in urban culture. Since parents and others couldnt grasp my youthful preference for british and american metal either. But the big difference is that those bands were actually made up of musicians that could actually play an instrument with talent, some with great talent. Where is the talent in draping yourself in gold and making up stupid rhymes? Its hard to imagine what the oldies stations will be playing in 40 years. Will the current generation be playing "gangsta paradise" in their retirement home rec. rooms? A strange world we livin' in.

It will be Gangsta Muzak :D

When you start to call the music of youth "crap" you are getting old. At any age.

Nobody said you have to like it. Nobody said you have to agree with it. Just keep your mouth shut so you don't look like a fuddy duddy :D :D :D :D :D

Besides, some of it ain't that bad.

I suspect that they'll still be playing much of the music from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

What next Peter Andre, or maybe Des O'Conner

Or Scotland's answer to Des O'Connor - Sydney Devine. :clap2

Talking about old Des, BA on one of their flights a few years ago featured what I think was the only Morecombe & Wise show in which Des actually managed to sing a song - it was a Christmas special. The so called modern comics should watch a few of their shows to learn real comedy. Maybe I'm showing my age :clap2 .

Also, didn't Des become a daddy again at the grand old age of 70 something a few years ago? :clap2
