could anybody let me no if they have stayed at the intown holiday hotel on soi honey or the apex on 2nd road and let me no what the hotel was like...cheers

intown, ok, low end, nice pool on the roof.

apex a complete shithole IMHO, except for maybe the buffet.

would recommed intown for good budget hotel.

wouldn't let my pet cockroaches stay at apex.

Yes,

Intown is very good value. For more than a week ask for a discount, available for lower floors at the back (quiet) side.

Apex not as good, many reports (me included) about bill fiddling.

I stayed at the Apex 2yrs ago for 5 nights. I found it OK and even tried to extend my stay but they were fully booked. My room was clean and had large fridge for 500bht. Only bad thing, compulsory Christmas dinner at 500bht. No problem with bill.

Much prefer Eastinny on Soi 8 (the newer one, near 2nd road).

IMHO the Intown Holiday is one of the best values in Pattaya. The rooms are drab but large so you don't feel cramped, the beds are comfortable, the service is good. Yeah, they don't run the lights or air conditioning in the lobby and the decor is blah but who cares?
