Yes, they will fry your eggs to order, or make an omlet, etc. But, you have to be there no later than about 9:45 as they shut it down promptly at 10:00 A.M.

I stayed at Areca last year and was there for nearly a month and I think I got up and ate breakfast about 3-4 times as I just couldn't get up early after going to sleep late after partying....These days I don't look at hotels that offer breakfast as I hardly get up but I am thinking of changing my ways this trip and enjoying the mornings... :D

I must say the breakfast is ok at Areca and does the job to energise the body until the afternoon. Don't worry if you miss breakfast, you can get it anywhere close to hotel anytime.

Enjoy ur trip :clueless

Thank-you

Have to agree the breakfast is worth waking up for, they are one of the few places that have decent back bacon on the buffet ! (Thanks Nancy)

I have found myself turning Thai after 9 visits over 3 years, and quite enjoy yellow curry or fishballs in the morning, much to the amusement of my long-term TG, who invariably has sausage, bacon and eggs.

There is something for every taste, so make the effort, LOL.

Enjoy your holiday.

Food is excellent and varied. My question is does anyone leave a "tip" on the table for the waiter who comes around and fills your coffee, or for the person who eventually cleans off the table? I did but now I"m not sure if it was appropriate. :D

Get down to Arecas breafast if you can,its bloody great,no need for lunch after it.

Eggs cooked on demand, bacon, toast,Thai food, fruit Etc.

Its also a great perv at Falangs with there overnight cuties.

As far as tipping goes, there is a tip box on the counter,if you feel inclined.

Joe is the guy in charge at breakfast, get to know him,he always let me take some fruit up to my TG,who naturally was still sleeping when i went for breakfast, tell him shes sick in bed.

The TGs love the breakfast in bed bit.

I found the breakfast Piss Poor not worth getting up for .The guy who cooks the eggs is slower than a slow thing.

This Is Thailand,my friend.

But i will bet you one thing,he cooked your eggs perfectly,as he always does,,and they were cooked in front of you,not pre cooked.
