Welcome Plaza has infestation with bed bugs

This Welcome Plaza hotel in Pattaya has a huge problems with bed bugs, so be wary of this hotel. They are having problems eradicating this bug but they still put tourists in there without their knowledge.

I think this can happend to any hotel,and i doubt they would comfirm this to the customers.

this may happen to other hotels ,but I am glad that some boardies are looking out for their fellow boardies.I did not intend booking this place but it will be totaly of my radar until I hear it has improved.

Agree with you bros,

Its unfortunate but bed bugs are getting to be a BIG problem in SEA( all countries)

Had problems with them in Kuala Lumpur (which is suppose to be a more modern and expensive city).

 

No one at the hotels will ever admit to problem as this will advertise a loss of future business.

Only bros with any knowledge of this will really know and should pass on info to others because if not, we will be the likely ones to infest other places when we book and also the potential of bringing these nasty bugs back home with us.

So to all bros reading this thread, please post if experience bed bugs at other locations.

Recently I read that they are a growing problem worldwide, even in the states! Apparently the litter buggers are hard to get rid of once you get an infestion in the room.

I hate Welcome Plaza with a passion. Bad experience there.

Correct as this is now a world wide problem but more so in warmer 3rd world places as sanitation not as good and warmer weather causes them to breed more.
