I will be in Pattaya in May and want to try the Whitehoue Condotel in Soi 13.

 

However every time I try to view their web site http://whitehousecondotel.com/ all I get is “The page cannot be displayedâ€.

 

Does anybody have a different web link for this place as I went to check the room types out before booking?

If i remember correctly it's 1250 for a standard room.

The place looks really nice on the website and the rooms are very well appointed so even though a little over my budget,I might look to stay there for a week when I am over in May,look forward to a review of the place-not sure if it has a pool,let me know,although could always use the Lek one if not.Also policy re bringing back TG's guest fee wise,although unlikely to be any.

Breakfast is included in rate,any good at restaurant?

shame there no pool ..

DSL internet in the room .. no mention of a pc tho ..

 

anyone know there guest policy as there prices are different when booking for 1 or 2 ppl in the room ..

I'm not totally sure, but I hope they don't got no Joiner fee. I'm pretty sure on the reviews section of this hotel it states that. However I have not stayed here yet so I'm not sure. Soi 13 has so many hotels on that soi and around that I wouldn't think they would make such a policy as that would surely turn away quite a few tourist.

Hi All I stayed at the Whitehouse Condotel for 4 nights at end of February this year.

I wrote down a few notes intending to do a review but never got round to it.

Here goes: I booked standard room by walk-in(was already at Lek) just fancied a change.1250bht including breakfast,served till 11.30, sorry fellas never was up in time for it!!

New well lit room. Good efficient air-con.

In-room safe No instructions at all,malfunctioned on me but sorted very quickly.

N.B only 3 digit code( not more normal 6 digit code) How secure do you think that is? Up to You.

Large very comfortable bed,firm but not hard mattress,linen pillows etc. all good quality.

Mini bar in fridge(not much room for drinks brought in from outside)

Large walk-in shower,water pressure fair But water temperature would change from hot to cold after about 6/7 minutes(wait a little while and OK again)

Sign saying no smoking(cigarettes ) in room,use balcony.view from balcony poor too near other buildings.No swimming pool. TV reception rather poor but had at least 3 good Sports Channels and BBC World for news. Room cleaned very well.

No joiner fee,Ok to the girls,take I.D.

On checking out there was a charge for mini-bar item(had not used it at all) but they accepted it as their error.. IMO I didn`t think service overall was as friendly as both Lek and Dynasty Inn. Room itself better than the other 2.

I have tried and tried and after a few days and two different ISP’s, I still can not open the web page.

 

If anybody has some photos of the rooms posting them would be appreciated.

 

I think what I’ll probably try now is just turning up and try booking in, can’t see them being booked out in May.

I booked in May-June. Did you try another computer? Either in a cafe or a friends? I bet it works there. That would point to probably something in your settings. Are you using Internet Expolorer? or one of the safer routes? I use Firefox, but if I have problems linking to a site and I'm sure of the site I use internet explorer.

The food is okay, but nothing special.

I just called the Whitehouse and was told 3000B per night for a double deluxe suite and 2500B for single deluxe suite, what do you guys book single or double????

 

I don’t want problems with taking friends back, if you know what I mean.

3000 they told me 1800 for May-June. Their posted price on their site is 1800, but maybe they changed. I booked a standard room. They never asked me single or double and from the reviews and other sources I was not aware there is a single/double here though that could be wrong as well. Maybe you should try to e-mail them and see what they tell you. Up to you.

I'm probably going to try this place. But I had a couple of questions.

 

Since this place is girl friendly, should I just book the single rather than the double and save 500 baht?

 

I'm having trouble with my wireless. Does this place use a wired network connection in the room?

I'm pretty sure on the review of this hotel it says that there is a wired internet connection.

For the suite it is 2500 and 3000 for double. This is what is states on the website. I know that for some hotels, you should book double so that you don't have problems bringing guests.
