There are several hotels either right on or very close by to Walking Street.

Del Mar, Diamond, Lideo Beach, and many others.

I agree with the posters above, also depends what kinda action you want. Walking Street, Soi Yodsak, there's so much I don't know the names. Personally I like anywhere on Soi 13 the best so I can go either way depending on how I feel IMHO much easier to go either way from Soi 13.

Can be of more assistance if you're a little more specific:

 

1) Price range?

2) Location - middle of the action or a quiet street very close to the action?

3) Extras apart from 4 walls & a roof - pool? internet access? room safe?

 

It will be easier for BMs to recommend various (girl-friendly) places with a little more info.

There are hotels and a few restaurants on Soi 13, but no short time rooms.

Perhaps, you are referring to Soi 13/1 AKA Soi Yamoto, Soi 13/2 AKA Soi Post Office, Soi 13/3 AKA Soi Pattayaland, or Soi 13/4 AKA Soi Pattayaland 2 ?

Correct me if I am mistaken, but for a relative newbie to the area, it may be prudent to stay near the Soi 2 area, considering the easy access to beer bars, massage parlours, and the shopping/eating/banking availability at the Big C complex.

 

If Walking Street is the preference(go-go bars), then a move further South to Soi 13 or beyond would be in order.
