Just ran across a deal from korean airlines for those near chicago. Chicago to bangkok $863.00 if you book between now and may 21st. for travel between august 21st. and nov. 30th. Normally runs around $1,100.00

Yes, I locked in my last two trips of the year with them. I'm coming from MSP, but it's still under $1,100 with the connecting flight to ORD. That will be only three legs for me those last two trips. Always better than the usual 4.

 

The closest thing with NWA or UA is ...not even close! $1,400 -1,600 depending on the date and day.

Maybe -- just maybe -- this will encourage some of the other carriers out of Chicago to match or approximate the fares.

 

Then again, they are making you buy the damn tickets by Sunday.
