need a bit of advice from all you experienced BMs out there. i'm looking to stay my final 2 nights in bkk in one of these hotels b4 i fly out on june 17. any info would be appreciated. thx. previously i've stayed at the president solitaire & the Radisson.

I would pass on the Royal President, stayed there 2 times, once in the court wing which was very run down and they do not even fill the mini bar, and once in the main wing, the room was ok, again nothing in the mini bar. The staff were alright, it is a bit of a trek down the soi. I think they have better rooms but I have not seen them. The President Solitaire is a better place but more expensive.

I have stayed at the grand president, soi 11, many times! Last year a 2 month stay.

It has everything I need! Good room, good food, friendly staff,gym, 3 swimming pools & GF....

I have not stayed at the Davis though I have heard very good reviews, other than the location.

Royal President, if you do go stay in the Sapphire, they are actually across the soi in a totally different building so you have more privacy. The rooms are not as nice as the pics as Cenn said. The biggest problem I had is it is a good ways down the soi. I have heard the exact same issues with Grand President, location and rooms are only ok. Hope that helps.

Two of your choices have good reviews. The Majestic grande is closest to Nana if that is what you want.

 

The Davis is closest to Soi Cowboy. Either way, you can jump on a skytrain and be at the other within minutes...Up to you~!!!

I've stayed at Majestic Grande, and it's a great place, but I now stay at Majestic Suites. 2/3 cheaper and still very nice. Both are great locations for Nana Plaza.

thx for the info guys/gals looks like i'll be going for the majestic grande which i initially had in mind. would've stayed at the president solitaire again but their prices just keep going up.
