Stayed there the first time I visited Pattaya. Nice rooms and grounds but would never stay there again because not girl friendly; I think they actually charged a hefty guest fee.

Currently those beautiful grounds near Beach Rd are all torn up. On the southern side there is construction going on for either a new high rise addition to the Amari or another hotel.

Stayed last August. NOT girl friendly, infact treated them like shit. They had to surrender their ID card to security on the gate as opposed to reception, and a fee of 800b per night. BG not able to have breakfast. Only 1 BG per room. Wont be going back there.

Jesus, at 800b guest fee per girl, I don't think I'd be organizing any gang bangs there

 

It would be great if someone could start a list of hotels in Pattaya that charge guest fees OR are girl unfriendly, use the Wiki so that others can contribute to it over time. You could start the wiki page with just the Amari and make a post in the Members Bar asking others to contribute their favorites.

Could be done fairly easily, given that the non girl friendly places are very much in the minority.

The problem is that I am going to be visiting patts with my wife and I was definitely looking for a place which is not girl friendly to keep it clean and nice now the only problem is the construction that is going on.

 

Could somebody who is in pattaya let me know that whether the construction would be that annoying in that hotel?

 

I believe they have openend a new restaurant called the mantra?

Good Hotels and not girl friendly

Have been their with my wife and daughter. It is an excellent choice for a FAMILY holiday hotel.

Any Thai hotel that has a guest charge is a rip-off.....Hotel or restaurant will not get my biz.....
