Ok, I've got a trip report on another Pattaya Board that I'm trying to copy over here.

On the other board it was done in 2 parts. I've just tried to upload part 1 of it here and it say's i've exceeded the picture limit. How many pictures are allowed? This trip report was written in 2 parts and has right baout 100 pics in it.

Cheers,

Mark

I seem to remember something about 50 pictures per post, but I can't be sure. Can you try just 50 picture links in the post to check?

Let's see if PattayaPete knows.

It is set to a max of 50 images per post at the moment.

This is an arbitary limit and could be increased. The problem with posting too many images in one post is that members with dial up connections could be stuck for hours waiting for everything to download and often the connection will choke and die with that many images.

It's not usually a problem for broadband users.

Mark, I'll set it temporarily to 101 so you can do your post without reorganizing it.. Let's have some feedback from members on how their connections handle it. If everyones happy, I'll leave it at 101.

I was still on dial up until the beginning of the month when my landlord installed broadband for me. When I was in the UK, I couldn't get broadband as AOL and Telewest were incapable of talking to one another. :llaugh :chogdee

Alan, the problem was that your Telewest phone line wasn't a regular phone line; Telewest is a cable provider and everything, TV/Phone/Broadband, comes down one cable. There's no way you can get a DSL service like AOL via that cable but, instead, Telewest provide pretty much the UK's top-rated Broadband service, albeit cable broadband, with speeds of up to 10MB if I remember correctly.
