Has anyone tried new inexpensive hotels recently?

Check out Tropical Bert's new small guest house on 2nd Road near soi 6. I haven't stayed there but I did go thru one of the rooms. Good value for the money.

Sky-Top has moved and renovated the rooms in the new location. Located on 2nd Road across the street from Bert's place. In room safe. Good value for the money.

Sabai Inn, Soi.2. IMHO it is hard to beat at 700 baht a night for a Standard Room during low season.

 

The Hotel location, although not in the thick of it, sees plenty of action on its doorstep and is a 10 minute bus ride from Walkin Street.

 

Staff is great also.

 

Hard to beat.
