I was interested to know more info for this bus and i find this page

Bus Number 389 - Ekamai - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Pattaya - Price approx 120 baht

 

Same bus (every 30 minutes) from Ekamai station? I don't know.

Plus new surcharge 100 baht.

So if I am seeing this correctly. Pattaya is 1050 + 60 (toll) + 100 (surcharge) = 1210 baht

I took the Vientiane to Udon bus yesterday, and all the farangs on the bus were handed a brochure for the New Suvarnabhumi bus service.

 

The busses are the painted “60th anniversary” yellow and appear to be 1st class not VIP busses.

 

According to the schedule it appears that there 3 trips in each direction daily:

 

Busses leave BKK at 9:00 11:00 and 15:00 with busses traveling the opposite direction leaving Pattaya at 9:00 11:00 and 15:00.

 

Any further info / experiences with this service are appreciated.

With me being a cheap charlie that I am, landing on the 25th October at 12:25, I suppose that by the time I have went through immigration, picked up my baggage, managed to get through customs, changed my Pounds to Baht and made my way over to the transportation centre, then I should make the 15:00 bus with ease!!!

 

Maybe catch a taxi back though as I don't facy a 6+ hour wait for my flight back
