Does the Residence Garden have Wi-fi?

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been covered before. Wheels up in a week and I need to knw if I should bring my laptop with me to Pattaya or leave it at home. I'm about as dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to computers. I think I can use my laptop if the Residence Garden has Wi-fi becasue I don't have to know how to fiddle with all sorts of weird settings to get it to work. It's my belief evil spirits lurk in electronic equipment haha. I've seen some of the bars have Wi-fi available but I really can't see me lugging a laptop to a bar then possibly having to stumble back to the room with it in tow.

I stayed at the Residence Gardens in June/July of lasy year and by the time I left you could use their wi-fi service in your room. Initially, I had to go onto the balcony to use it (not a problem) but that was fixed during my stay.

There was a charge for it but I really can't remember how much it was.

I seem to remember the charge being 100b a day or some such, with longer term rates available as well.

The long term rates were quite good. I paid for a month even though I only had 3 weeks or so of my stay left.

Had a mate who just stayed there & the charge is 100 baht a day. He has his own business so needed the internet constantly. Unfortunately it could be slow at times & was not working at all for 1 day in 4.

They did however try to fix the problem & gave him credit when the system was down. Maybe he caught them on a bad fortnight.
