The monsoon season starts in june (sometimes already in may) in Pattaya and stops in october or beginning of november. Short showers in the daytime, but rather often thunderstorms at night. I'm never uncomfortable with humidity but the heat in april and may a bigger problem and a reason for take a siesta (there're of course other reasons for that too :D )

Thailand is a big country and in the south it's warmer with higher humidity. In the north it's rather cold in the winter down to 16 - 18 C and sometimes you can see snow and hailstones.

Have been many times to Pattaya at diferent times of the year (ie)

March - hot and dry with the odd shower - low humidity

April - very hot and humid with increasing showers - high humidity

July - hot and wet - high humidity

September - very wet with low humidity

Obviously it can vary from year to year. My favourite time to visit is March !

Does the humity make it uncomfortable in March - September?

For me, only when it is so humid, that the streets are flooded, and all my clothes are soaked from the rain.
