Recommended Laundry Shop

I do not often go out of my way to recommend businesses, but I am making an exception here. I have used a few laundry shops in Pattaya, and find most of them overpriced and offering SLOOOOOW turnaround times. The quality of the job is often spotty.

 

Last trip I found a place that actually does a good job at a fair price, and they turn around fast. The place is Porn Laundry (no, I do not have any financial interest). They are on 2nd road Soi 14, across from beach road Soi 12. They are cheaper than everyone else, turn around in ~6 hours at no additional charge, typically round down the charge, and are very pleasant to deal with.

 

The only problem is getting to the shop. If you look down soi 15, you see nothing but a big construction mess. Walk don there anyway ... there is a bit of a path around and thru the construction. The hop is near the end of the soi on the right hand side. I pity the owners, as they are really getting screwed by the construction, and could use the additional business.

Sky-Top offers same day service at a reasonable price. They actually have washers and dryers and they use soap. I especially like that my clothes don't smell like they were washed in a sewer.

The laundry opposite areca lodge does an excellent job and cheap too. the laundry doesnt look much but the clothes always come back spot less.

There's a good one opposite the Sunshine Vista hotel on Soi 3 off 2nd road. Good service,good prices and the clothes smell lovely when you get them back.

In the city you've got a good one on Soi P72 (yes, the same as the hotel). Its outside the Cherry Lodge Hotel I think. Was Bt500 for 80 pieces with a usual 24 hour turnaround at latest.

 

I use the one in View Talay 2B and they'll turn it around ASAP if asked.

I agree. It is called "Kim's" laundry. They certainly do a good job at a fair price. On the basis that nothing is perfect, I do find the turnaround times leave a little to be desired.

the turnaround might be a bit slower 24hrs, reason is that their always busy and the reason they are busy is because there good.

If you are staying at the Residence Garden there is a good laundry just on the other side of the hotel next to the RG. quick service & quality work.
