Heading to Pattaya the end of February and I am looking for a reasonable hotel (less than 1000 baht) that has more than just the bed in the room. :D I would like to have some place to sit than just the bed.

OK, my real reason is that I am a big fan of the reverse cowgirl and I want a good seat to see the action. In addition I like the chair for a good BJ. There something about being able to watch your girl in a kneeled position paying her respects. :ang2

Also, I should make this clear. I am not talking about the wicker childrens chair that you see so often or the footstool that is also very prominent in the budget hotels. I would like to have a nice fat chair or a even a couch that can accomodate my girth. Maybe I am asking too much for my budget, but I figure why not ask the experts and seek their advice.

If anyone can give me some ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.

Sounds like you'll be spending a lot of time in that sofa then. I think most "apartments" will have some sort of sofa or loveseat. Many apartments rent by the night as well.

The Vault's standard rooms have a leather couch and chair and are priced at 1000 bht. I stayed there in Jan 07. You have to use payapl and make a $50 deposit, but I had no problems at all...free laundry too. Naic Place.

Another option is to find the best priced hotel and then go buy a chair. If your staying any length of time this will be the best option. Most of the stores will deliver the chair for free. Give the chair to a friend of TG after you leave.
