I need a hotel near Suvarnabhumi Airport. It's just for one night, my last night before my 8:30am return flight to the US on my trip in May. The Novotel looks good, but the prices I've seen there are pretty outrageous. I've searched here, on TravelAdvisor.com and others but can't some up with much in the way of solid recommendations. One that's guest-friendly would be nice, too, but that's not a requirement.

Why not just stay in Pattaya and arrange a car to take you directly to the airport? I've done this in the past for a 1 am flight. I worried about making my flight and gave myself an extra hour to get to the airport.

Used Mr. Toom and the driver arrived early. Made it in plenty of time. Gave me a few more hours in Pattaya to hit soi 6 and Lolitas

Sorry I can't offer much help with your original question

I thought about that, but even if I was staying in Bangkok I'd have to get up about 5 or 5:30am to make my 8:30am flight. I don't want to add travel time from Pattaya to that and I don't do well on zero sleep, so staying up all night and leaving from Pattaya is out.

Crikey, you got at least 14 hrs to sleep on the plane back to US of A

I have been "moderate" before on my last flight

it made good prudent sense......untill the door of the fxxking plane closed!

Here is site with 7-8 hotels close to new airport, some reasonable price. But actually not so close, you could just as easy book hotel in Suk area in Bangkok. As cheap, not much more time to travel as early morning because no traffic then.

By the way there is a new IBIS hotel on Ramkamheng Rd next to the motorway, which can be considered a Bangkok airport hotel, since it is somewhat close and along the motorway. I really like IBIS hotels. It would be a lot cheaper than the Novotel, and at least there will be plenty of shops and restaurants around. It is very well priced. I see it on latestays.com sometimes.

I will be staying at least one nite at Queen's garden by the airport

Will be with a TG slut and her 18 yo "sister"

"sister" just moved to Bkk to work in the Sluts phone shop ( i bought the orginal inventory for her :)

slut is bi, and we will both be working over her sister

we have talked about this for 3 years, should be good

dont want to meet them in Bkk, as i need to get rid of them w/o drama if needed

i can use my usual "go to work in Singapore" and change sim cards

Also dont want them tracking me down in Bkk

as i will be spending a couple of nites in the front of my trip on Soi 8 with The Rainbow Girl

Rainbow girl lives on Soi 8 and we will be staying at Salil Hotel

dont want to bring them to Pattaya, because tough to broom them

However, if it turns out good, well who knows??

Hey, i have baht and 5 sim cards, i should be ok................

(why the 5 sim cards? all my regulars know that i Live in USA, work in Singapore sometimes, and they are used to me waking up and going to the Airport because have work in Singapore. I use this to broom a keeper without burning my bridges. It is a hassle, but i have about 10 that i have known for 2-4 years that are GREAT performers and fun to hang with.....for a day or two)
