Bit torrent P2P file sharing

Recommended Posts

I did google it, but all sorts of crap came up. Anyone know the link to the file sharing site for music and video downloads. I had tried it on my old computer about a year ago, but they wanted my credit card details, even though they said it was free. I think it was to check id or something, so I didnt go any furhter with it. I guess that would make it easier for record companies to chase you for illegal downloading.

You need to download a bit torrent client. It is free. Try one of these:

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

http://www.bittorrent.com/download

When you have downloaded and run that then you need some torrent site for downloading music, films etc.. Try these: Just type in what you are looking for and scan the results then download what you want it is all free.

http://thepiratebay.org/

http://isohunt.com/

File sharing takes time although sometimes you may be able to download an album in 10 minutes it could also takes 10 hours depending how many other people are downloading it, same with movies. Some torrents will be dead and not download at all so just try another one.

No one is going to ask you for your credit card details, if anyone does do not give it to them period.

:D :D :D

to find the files use torent box

http://www.torrentbox.com/torrents-browse.php?news

to download use utorrent..

http://www.utorrent.com/download.php

for music i use..frostwire

http://www.frostwire.com/

all free ..good luck...

UTorrent is unbeatable. It's tiny, fast and you can put it on a USB stick, i.e. you don't install it.

I believe the best search engine by fare is ISO Hunt:

In my view the best presentation of the most-recent Torrents in reverse chronological order is at the very well done TorrentSpy

http://www.torrentspy.com/

YMMV.

Word of warning people, Torrentspy is literally what is says.....they have actively been sending the RIAA and the BMI logs of downloads pertaining to illegal copywritten music, films etc for along time now.

Currently all Peer to Peer Clients including Kazza Lite Ressurection, Frostwire, Limewire, and Shareaza have "planted" seeds who are sharing on behalf off the RIAA and the BMI in an attempt to catch people file sharing illegal material.

Investigate IRC (Internet Relay Chat) sharing facilities, until now to the best of my knowledge they have been untouched by the "feds".

Actually the black helicopters do the monitoring, the programs just beam the information up to them. Alcoa secretly makes a counter-attack, cleverly covertly marketed under the generic trade name "aluminum foil". Folded correctly, placed atop the vertical human body, it will stop the rays.

Sigh.

How do I debunk thee? Let me count the ways:

1. Torrentspy doesn't HAVE downloads, it only has links to torrents, which are tiny little text files and as illegal as dihydrogen oxide.

2. Clients don't have ....

Oh to hell with it. Never mind. It leaves more downloading bandwidth for the rest of us.

is anyone aware of torrent sites containing Thai movies (not xxx movies)????

tried looking but can't find much out there

Never seen such, and I've been around the torrents for a while. You don't see them anywhere online, really.

I'm sure the thinking is that only Thais want them, and they cost 69 baht on CD in any mall. Same with the music. There is a tiny amount of Thai music in P2P, but table after table of karaoke and MP3s in the malls.

My kids in the States always ask me for movies and especially the comedy shows.
