United or Thai Air

I am inbound to TH in late June.

 

Can fly business class (upgraded from normal economy fare) Chicago-Narita-Bkk (United), or Thai JFK-Bkk, premium economy.

 

Travel time aside, which offers best seating? I suspect UAL?

UAL business is much better than Thai premium economy. It's not even close.

If you can upgrade again to first or business class on Thai, then I suspect that would be the better flight as THAI does have the "almost" lie-flat seats. You can check out all flights and customers comments on

united and thai biz class are very similiar except for the stews. (thai being much better)

 

thai premium is about the same as ual premium.
