Lek or Welcome Plaza hotel.

Hi.

If you have stayed at the Lek (old wing) and Welcome Plaza which hotel would you recommend.

Considering:

- Room appearance (bright vs. dreary) Cleanness

- Size of both rooms

- Security staff & boxes in room or lobby

- Bed Comfort & size

- TV. Number of available English speaking channels

 

Based on my inquiry, prices are about the same THB 750.00-800.00 for a standard room.

 

Normally I would stay at the Inn House but they have increased their rate for a standard room from THB 750.00 to THB 942.00.

Agreed. Lek hotel is the better choice of the two.

 

Welcome Plaza is depressing.

The old wing at the Lek isn't exactly cheerful.

 

Honestly, there are better values in the price range, but if you only want to consider those two, I guess I'd say Lek.

I stayed in Welcome Plaza last year for 1 night then checked out. Bus loads of Chinese Tourists everywhere, and more roaches in the room than i care to mention. In fact i never saw the night out i moved at 2 in the morning.

Never stayed at Lek but ive used there pool which was ok. For the same money as the Welcome you can get a nice place if you look about

What better hotels would you recommend in South Pattaya for THB 750-800 price range that would be available for a monthly stay.
