View Talay 3

Anyone know what View Talay 3 is like to stay in? I believe it is right on the beach – which is a good thing.

 

What about the negatives – is it hard to get to? Will someone be able to find it easily – say a girl I give the address to? How far from the Jomtien baht bus route?

 

Any other comments will be appreciated.

It is extremely quiet there. The beach has a lot of russian package tourists. There are no shared baht busses there. I would say it is nice if you simply want a nice time on the beach. Otherwise it may prove to be an inconvenient location for transport, bars, and restaurants. When I stayed there with a friend for 2 nights, without my car, we had a very difficult time getting out at nght. That said, it is a very nice relaxing quiet place to be.

I used to own a condo in VT Residence 1 we always had a motorbike so no problem but if you use the baht buses you have a short 2-5 min walk to the main drag then load of buses. However it wa quick dark and deserted walking there late at night. Never had any problems though. The accomodation is nice but for the price I think you can find somewhere closer to the action, depends what you are after. Also I think they are still building the other VT residences so could be noisy?

I live in VT3 and I love it there.It is very quiet with no street noise as it is absolute beachfront .Big swimming pool good restaurant and convenience/laundry store.Transportation is a little tricky.From the front of Building A it would be a 200 meter walk to the moto taxis. Moto taxis are 40 Baht into central Pattaya. The public baht bus route would be 500 meters further.So if you are ok with the moto taxis transportation is fine. The beach is quiet for 90% of the year.But at Xmas it is packed with Russians.I personally dont mind the Russians as they tend to be couples aged 25-40 .So some attractive white girls on the beach in high season.
