Ok i know i've already asked about the Residence Garden and Chabahut ( thanks for the replies btw)

However i just spotted an oldish thread on the Roof Garden Inn which makes it sounds very nice.

Couple of simple questions however.

Location

Is it any different to the Residence garden for getting into the nightlife areas? Going by the reviews it 'sounds' like it is pretty much the same.

Pool

I Gather it has no pool but is there any nearby that can be used? I like to swim each day although i am not one who does laps or anything. That would be too much like using energy.

The roof garden is a no frills hotel for 700 Baht.THere is no elevator,pool.restaurant. What you getis a clean quiet A/C roomwith a somewhat hard bed. It is located accrossfrom MataHari ang Manhattan steakhouse restaurants.(Just before Sugar Hut as you go upthe hill toJomtien) THe two days I spent there were fine. The staff were very hospitable.

Nice 'Boutique' hotel, Falang owned,(get the big room if you can). Well appointed rooms (Excellent shower). Broadband, room safe, small balcony.

A little more of Pratumnak hill to contend with than say Residence or Mr Macs, but what the heck. Six 'nominal' parking slots out front, often a bit tight for parking four wheels.
