Have a chance to stay at Opeydeplace on SOI Lengkee, 3rd road. The cost during high season for 2 people is 900 B per night. Anyone stay here before or know something about the place? Thanks in advance..

Opeydeplace

I've never stayed there, but it looks pretty clean from the outside.

They are very close to where I live. I'll be sure and drop by there and tell them to get your reservation deposit in advance :bow (Sorry, couldn't resist)

MM, you have a cruel spot in your heart as I've noticed you've SNIPED me on several occasions because you , "couldn't resist."

Bad Budha for you! I'll be sure to make an advance payment to the FLB before and IF I decide to offer any drinks (although I still may not show up...). :bow

Hi Tengotodo

Have not stayed there but have often remarked about the place because

it looks so clean.

I stand corrected but i am sure it is girl friendly.

I often eat at Juice Restaurant for excellent meals and is directly opposite

the hotel.

Fathermojo is a big fan and stays there often. I've checked out the rooms and it looks like a nice place. I never stayed there myself though, as I found places that suited me better in that area.

In his defense, at least he knows that there are, potentially, better places to stay.

In keeping with the ribbing, this isn't anything new. He heaped praises on Areca Lodge before, but then he got over it.

Areca is a great hotel and I recommend it anytime. Metro is a better value for the money, I think. I occasionally like to "move" to another part of town just to get a fresh perspective and visit sois I might otherwise not get to.

Hi there,i've stayed at the opey before,it a great hotel for the price, very friendly staff, especially sow the young lady who works in the cafe[not up for grabs she's married]but very pleasant, rooms are clean but dont have safe, have deposit boxes downstairs[take padlock]i prefered the rooms with balcony poolside think you might pay extra 100 bt per night, great value, pool is on small side but in low season should be no probs,no probs taking girls back, secruity guard is bang on if it's the same one, misserable git but he dont miss fuck all, only reason i moved was i fancied new location, plenty of bars nearby on soi dianna, oasis 2 mins walk, and plenty of good eating places nearby[robins nest, nickysand butcher's arms]crossing soi buckhow can become a pain at times, but i can definately recommend the opey.

Maybe I have stayed there 3~5 times. They must be doing something right as they were sold out at the beginning of July.

Even though I would prefer a place with an in-room safe, I have never had a problem with the safe deposit boxes located behind the counter. The one downside is that the boxes are not available from 11pm until 8am so get your stuff before you fly off.

The pool always looks clean, the food in the restaurant is tasty to me and the front desk staff are pleasant.

i stayed there about 3 1/2 years ago in a deluxe room, clean and girl friendly the only problem i had with the place was they were building the place next door (should be finished by now :D ) and one night i fell asleep after bedroom activites and left my television on, a neighbour complained that my tv was too loud and the security guard tried to get in my room to turn it off i had the chain on luckily enough 2guns
