Visa questions

Recommended Posts

I just got back from my October trip. I loved it but of course it wasn't long enough. I don't think I can get an "0" visa because of a minor record from when I was young. If I get a tourist visa, the 60 day type, I believe I can get it extended. So my question is, do I need a return ticket to enter with it, because if I can get it extended I don't know when I would return. Thanks guys

I doubt your minor record would stop you getting an "O" visa.

If you get a tourist visa then you can extend it for 30 days only once you are in Thailand. In theory you do have to have a return ticket with a tourist visa but they never check so wouldn't worry about that too much. If someone asked you could claim to be going overland to Singapore.

Pattaya Pete answered your question, but I might add that a return ticket would be necesary when you apply for an extension.

How about a multiple entry tourist visa?
